Another BTW

Saw Return of the King on the 20th. Good golly and youch! Going again on the 1st if we can get the tickets. As we were walking out to the car after the movie I turned to Erica and said I was ready to see it again. She said she needed to pee and eat something first. I considered my own relative needs in the same areas and found I could easily sit for another 3 hours and change without satisfying those needs just to experience it again. It’s really that good a movie.

Server Changes

BTW, we made some sweeping changes to this server today, including reducing the number of IPs bound to it’s NIC from about 12 down to 2 and using Name Based Virtual Hosting instead of IP based for all the sites on here. Hopefully we’ve caught and killed all the little bugs that those changes introduced. I’ll not hold my breath on that one though, as problems seem to have a way of taking a few days to crop up whenever I do a project like this it seems. Thus is the life of a SysAdmin, eh?

The Decalogue

Well, evidently they have now re-released The Decalogue on DVD, and, courtesy of Netflix, I have the frist disc in my grubby little mitts right now. So, I’ll finally start watching it this afternoon. I’ll keep this page up to date with my thoughts as I see the films. TTFN
